Description:
Françoise is an outstanding, large, cinnamon-coloured French bear, Pintel c1950’s.  She is 19” tall, with about 95% mohair coverage.  Her chocolate-brown paw pads are showing some wear, but with no holes.  Her head and paws are woodwool-filled, as is the area around her non-working growler; the rest of her body is stuffed with kapok.  Her joints are a little stiff, but she still sits beautifully.  She has amber and black glass eyes, and black nose and mouth stitching.  There is some wear to the facial stitching, but this does not detract from her shy smile.  Her lovely “mousey” ears are also lined with brown velvet to match her paw pads; her ear stitching is starting to loosen on her left ear, and looser again on her right ear.  There is slight movement of the stuffing in her arms, perhaps where she has been carried by a young owner in the past?  Françoise is a real lady, who will arrive wearing her pretty Summer frock.
