Dolly has one of those faces that makes your heart melt…  A 1930’s Merrythought, her face reflects all those experiences she must have had over the years.  Dolly is 20” tall, but somehow seems bigger – she is typically chunky, as with other Merrythoughts of this age.  Dolly is fully jointed, with big ears, big paws, and a shaved muzzle.  She has about 60% of her shaggy, soft, blonde mohair, and a non-working squeaker.  Dolly has original felt pawpads and all claws except for one of the webbed claws on her left handpad.  Only the stitched outline is left of the Merrythought label on her left footpad.  She is kapok-filled, with a woodwool-filled snout.  Dolly’s facial stitching and glass eyes are all original.  Dolly is wearing a fabulous, vintage, cream silk gown with lace trim and embroidered yolk, old, hand-knitted cardigan with cameo brooch, and vintage faux pearl necklace.  She has topped off her outfit with a vintage hat, jazzed up with new ribbon!  Truly a stylish bear!
