Evangeline

This elderly lady has certainly seen better days, but there’s plenty of life left in the old girl yet!  Evangeline is a 1930’s Chiltern, 21” tall, and fully jointed; although her joints are a bit wobbly, they are quite firmly attached.  She is woodwool-filled, and has about 30% of her soft, blonde mohair left.  Evangeline has original glass eyes and facial stitching.  There is a tiny hole beneath her left ear, but nothing serious.  There is some damage to her right paw pad, but the claws are intact, and there are a few little holes in her right foot pad.  However, Evangeline could do with a new left foot pad, and there is major damage to her left paw, as you can see in the photos.  As she is wearing socks and mittens, nothing needs to be done unless her new owner is skilled in these matters.  Despite these signs of age-related wear and tear, Evangeline is a most charming companion, and would appreciate a home where she could share her life’s story with an appreciative audience.  She is wearing a vintage linen gown with embroidered waistband and deep lace trim, a vintage cardigan with bone china brooch, an old “pearl” necklace, and a vintage stole to keep her shoulders warm (and the mittens and socks, of course.)
