Description:
Lindy provides a rare opportunity to purchase a pink 1950's Chiltern
teddy bear. Lindy's synthetic (probably art silk) plush has worn very thin, and the front
especially is very faded, but she is still unmistakably pink!
Inspection of her joints reveals she was once a fabulous rose-pink colour.
Lindy has a musical movement, but there is no key, so we don't know if
it's working or not - perhaps someone out there is clever enough to get it
working again? Lindy is a large size (18"), with a soft and very
cuddly body. She is fully jointed, (although they are a little
stiff) with plastic eyes and nose, and original mouth stitching. Her
fabric paw pads, although a little stained, are in good condition, and
there are a couple of loose stitches to the centre seam of her body,
though not enough to make a proper hole. As you can see from the photo's,
she has a couple of small brownish stains on her body. Most
importantly, of course, she has a very pretty face... Lindy will
arrive wearing her pink cotton dress and ribbon.
