Rebecca is such a sweetheart, a proper little lady.  A Chad Valley bear of the 1940’s/1950’s, she is 16” tall, with a kapok-filled body and kapok/straw-filled hear.  Rebecca is fully jointed, with amber and black glass eyes and original “coal”-nose stitching.  Her brown felt handpads are in very good condition, but her footpads have a couple of small holes.  Someone has tried to repair one of these holes, and also to stitch up a hole in the seam of her right leg, but not very neatly.  It would not be difficult for anyone good with a needle to tidy these up a bit. Rebecca has long, light-golden mohair, about 50-60% coverage. She is wearing an elegant, grey and white cotton lined party dress, white hand-knitted cardigan, floral brooch and pretty headband. All she needs now is someone to cuddle!
