Melanie is the other half of our Chad Valley Magna sisters (see Helene above.) Melanie is the impish one who always looks like she’s up to something! Made in the 1930’s and 12” tall, Melanie has even less mohair than her sister, just a few tufts on her legs!  She is fully jointed with kapok-filled body and straw-filled head.  Melanie has amber and black glass eyes and original facial stitching, which is looking a little worn.  All of her paw pads have been replaced, and these too are looking a bit rough around the edges. Melanie is wearing a pale pink hand-knitted dress with white hand-knitted pants; topping this outfit is a pretty floral hat with feather trim – all set for a day out! Melanie is also wearing a silver-plated teddy necklace, like her sister. Like Helene, Melanie would love to be re-homed with her sister, but knows this may not be possible, and will be happy just to keep in touch
