Description:
Wallace is a 1940/1950's 19" Chad Valley bear, who has been the recipient of much love over the years!  Although his foot label has faded, his side label clearly shows "Hygienic Toys made in England by the Chad Valley Co Limited".  He has plastic eyes and his facial stitching is in excellent condition.  Wallace is quite threadbare, and his head is floppy where the stuffing in the top of his chest has compacted; however, this gives him a most appealing expression.  Although the paw pads are worn, only one has some loose stitching - no stuffing is coming out.  Wallace' muzzle is a bit squashed, again where the stuffing has shifted.  Although Wallace is loose-limbed and worn, there is no serious damage.  This very charming bear will arrive wearing his hand-knitted jumper and hat. You have a choice of clothing for Wallace: either his knitted jumper & hat,
or his Christmas outfit. Please let us know which you prefer when ordering.
