Lewis We don’t know Lewis’ make, but we think he is probably a German bear, he is beautifully made.  He is 13” tall, probably 1950’s, but he could be older than that.  Lewis is fully jointed, with a working growler, and virtually complete coverage of short, soft, blonde mohair.  His felt pawpads are intact and in excellent condition.  Lewis is firmly woodwool-filled, so he sits up very smartly.  He has amber and black glass eyes which appear original, as is his facial stitching.  Most importantly, he has the most appealing expression.  Lewis is wearing a satin-lined wool waistcoat, and a lined, knitted hat with lifeboat pin.
